Bi Monthly Gym Competitions
Join in the fun while achieving your goals. Take part as an individual or join in a team. Games consist of covering a certain distance or brning a number of calories.
This months gym game is the 800km challenge. Run, cycle, cross train, row or swim 800km to claim your free T-shirt.
Join a member of the team for a monthly coffee morning with fellow members. Drop in and ask any questions to the staff and also meet new people.
Enjoy a stroll around the local area while getting some fresh air. Join the friendly group to complete up to 4 miles every Thursday at 1pm.
All major sporting events are covered on both terrestrial and satellite televisions in our contemporary air conditioned lounge, many of which have special bar promotions on food & drink.
Whether you enjoy a drop or two our wine tasting day promises to be good fun and also very fulfilling! (in more than one way!)
Wonder around the Great British countryside, seeing the wildlife.
Enjoy a day out with members and the staff. Have a flutter or simply just have fun and soak up the atmosphere! To top it off, in the evening watch the wurzels perform live!

Ten Pin Bowling
Anyone can bowl, it does not matter if you can hit a strike or not, its all about the taking part that counts.
Something for everybody, great food, great company and hopefully great weather. Bouncy castle, face painting, penalty shoot out competition, basket ball and much, much more for the whole family.
Quarterly Quiz Night
A fun and enjoyable social evening that are organised quarterly. It is a chance for you to take a break and relax whilst exercising your brain cells.
Friends of Spirit Health (FOSH)
FOSH (the voice of the members) consists of a team of members from the health club who meet on a regular basis. This enables the members to have their say, discussing issues and changes that could benefit the health club. These members are also key figures in the organising, planning and implementing of the social events we run at the club. In 2011 we raised over £2000 for Whizz Kidz
We put the Spirit into Boot Camp
Our Spirit Boot Camp classes have now been launched. Join us on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday for our Boot camp sessions. £4 for members and £5 Non members or you can prepay for 10 and receive 2 free Boot Camp classes. Check out the timetable for the times we start.
MacMillan Coffee Mornings
Join our 2 MacMillan Coffee mornings on Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th September.
10am - midday on both days. Donations will go towards the Macmillan charity.

Bristol Health Club muscles in on award win

Spirit Health Club Bristol-Filton has been shortlisted for Health Club of the Year at the prestigious 2015 ukactive & Matrix Flame Awards.
Designed to celebrate organisations shaping the future of physical activity in the UK, the Flame Awards acknowledges the best fitness facilities, outdoor fitness providers, suppliers and industry innovators across the UK.
The Spirit Health Club, located within Holiday Inn Bristol Filton on Filton Road, has been recognised for its commitment to getting more people, more active, more often and will go head-to-head with 6 other finalists for the coveted Health Club of the Year accolade at next month’s award ceremony.
This latest acknowledgment marks the sixth shortlist over the last eight years for the club, which boasts a fully-equipped state-of-the-art gym, heated swimming pool, sauna and on-site Lifestyle Consultants who provide one-to-one guidance on health, energy and fitness.
The Health Club of the Year winner will be announced at the ukactive & Matrix Flame Awards night on Wednesday, 24 June at The International Centre in Telford.
