Here at Spirit Health Club we like to take a more holistic approach to fitness; meaning its not all about exercise we believe it is also important to relax and enjoy yourself.
Friends of Spirit Health (FOSH)
FOSH (the voice of the members) consists of a team of members from the health club who meet on a regular basis. This enables the members to have their say, discussing issues and changes that could benefit the health club. These members are also key figures in the organising, planning and implementing of the social events we run at the club. In 2011 we raised over £2000 for Whizz Kidz
Quarterly Quiz Night
A fun and enjoyable social evening that are organised quarterly. It is a chance for you to take a break and relax whilst exercising your brain cells.
Something for everybody, great food, great company and hopefully great weather. Bouncy castle, face painting, penalty shoot out competition, basket ball and much, much more for the whole family.
Ten Pin Bowling
Anyone can bowl, it does not matter if you can hit a strike or not, its all about the taking part that counts.
Enjoy a day out with members and the staff. Have a flutter or simply just have fun and soak up the atmosphere! To top it off, in the evening watch the wurzels perform live!

Wonder around the Great British countryside, seeing the wildlife.
Whether you enjoy a drop or two our wine tasting day promises to be good fun and also very fulfilling! (in more than one way!)
All major sporting events are covered on both terrestrial and satellite televisions in our contemporary air conditioned lounge, many of which have special bar promotions on food & drink.
Enjoy a stroll around the local area while getting some fresh air. Join the friendly group to complete up to 4 miles every Thursday at 1pm.
Join a member of the team for a monthly coffee morning with fellow members. Drop in and ask any questions to the staff and also meet new people.
Bi Monthly Gym Competitions
Join in the fun while achieivnf your goals. Take part as an individual or join in a team. Games consist of covering a certain distance or brning a number of calories.
